I’ve already posted this pretty much everywhere but in a last ditch attempt to raise awareness, including getting as many donations as possible, I thought I’d post it here too.
On April the 4th I’ll be leaving Adelaide and heading to Kathmandu in Nepal.
Carrying on from last years Mont Blanc summit climb which I did for Cancer Research UK, I’ve decided to attempt making it to both the summit of Island Peak and Everest Base Camp.
It’ll take a rough total of 18 days depending on weather, starting by making my way to an altitude of 6,189m, to the summit of Island Peak, following that we’ll drop down slightly and make our way over to Everest Base Camp at 5,364m.

This time I’ve decided to raise money for FND Action, it’s an important charity to me as I have a close member of the family who suffers with it and it’d be great to try and support others as it makes a big difference.
In the meantime, I’m in the gym at least once a day in preparation but not a huge amount else to update you all on, I’ve just embraced the change of pace and I’m very much enjoying it, not to mention I probably needed it.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated!
