A change of pace

Written by:

It was an early start to escape the hostel and head to the airport via Hyde Park, next stop Adelaide.

This was the first time I got a feel for the scale of Australia, I was getting a domestic flight which was just over two hours long and also crossed into a different time zone, don’t think I’ll ever get my head around that.

Once again I don’t really know anything about Adelaide, but had planned to house sit for some family so I was looking forward to the change of pace from all the adventuring so far.I spent the first couple of days feeling pretty shattered, so it was nice to be able to recover a bit.

I still got to go out on their boat and saw my first dolphin which was amazing.

I had a go and trying to catch a squid too but as you can probably tell by the lack of photo, that part didn’t go so well.

I’m here until early April so the majority of my time here will be spent training for the next part of my trip in Nepal, so the updates may slow down a bit but I’ll catch you up on anything interesting.

I’m already signed up to both a gym and a bouldering gym, along with having some surfing lessons booked which should be interesting, more sharks here than Bali…

Stay tuned!
